Julie was invited to a birthday party this weekend for one of my best friends' from high school little girl. I wanted to try to do something with the machine for it. So I bought an adorable Stephen Joseph backpack and added her first initial!! I think it turned out quite nice for the lack of embroidery experience we have!!
Here are some pictures:
It is also one of my dearest friends birthday and I decided to try a tote bag with an applique! The applique is from Embroidery Boutique. I think it turned out good too but my mom did this one mostly on her own. I just designed the monogram on SewWhatPro.
Here are some pictures of it:
So for the birthday party, I wanted Julie to have something that I did because I hadn't done anything for her yet except her birthday shirt. I found some cute bermuda shorts at target on clearance and got a pack of camis for her. I found this cute Curly Dot Font from Five Star Fonts and we matched the colors in her shorts. She is too too cute!!
Finally, Bootsie is a Breast Cancer Survivor and has developed many friendships through Comfy Couch. They support each other through the struggles with this horrible disease. Bootsie and Momma are going to a Comfy Couch weekend next weekend in Virginia and wanted to take something to give everyone. They came up with the idea of personalizing koozies and giving one to everyone! I think they turned out GREAT and everyone will enjoy them and remember this special weekend!!
Well this is the beginning of our work! I can't wait to see how we progress! Enjoy!!
